Getting Back to Where Health and Fitness Actually Matter

After spending time in the States, I made the decision to move my personal training business—Dennis Romatz Fitness—back to Bangkok. The reason wasn’t logistical. It wasn’t about cost. It wasn’t about weather. It was about people. Specifically, the kind of clients I want to work with and the environment I want to operate in.

Let’s be honest. In many Western cities today, there’s a growing movement to normalize being out of shape. Obesity is accepted—even celebrated—as part of the cultural norm. Effort, discipline, and physical excellence are often seen as extreme or even offensive. That’s not me. That’s not my brand. And that’s not what I stand for.

In Bangkok, I found something better—something more aligned with my mission.

Bangkok Clients Are Different

Clients here are hungry—not for junk food, but for results. They’re driven. They’re focused. They show up, work hard, and take responsibility for their health. There’s no entitlement, no excuses, no “just accept me as I am” attitude. There’s a real culture of self-improvement and personal accountability.

It’s not about body shaming—it’s about raising the bar. It’s about surrounding myself with people who value their bodies, their health, and their potential—people who don’t just want to be included in the status quo, but who want to break free from it.

Where I Train Clients in Bangkok

I specialize in private personal training at condo gyms across central Bangkok. These locations are perfect for busy professionals and expats who want results without wasting time commuting across the city. I bring the program directly to your building and train you where it’s most convenient—your condo gym.

I currently train clients in the following areas:

  • Sukhumvit (Asok, Nana, Phrom Phong, etc.)

  • Silom

  • Sathorn

  • Ekkamai

  • Thonglor (Thong Lo)

This setup is ideal for anyone who values privacy, consistency, and high-level coaching without the chaos of commercial gyms.

I Don’t Do Average

I offer world-class personal training. I’ve spent 38 years developing a clinically structured, science-based, results-driven system. I’m not for everyone—and that’s the point. I’m for people who want to perform at a higher level, who don’t want to blend in with the crowd, and who refuse to let complacency define them.

Back in Bangkok for Good Reason

Bangkok is filled with expats, professionals, athletes, and locals who want to train with intensity and intention. They respect the process. They value expert coaching. And they understand that real change requires effort—not hand-holding or watered-down motivation.

I came back to work with those people.I came back to make an impact.

So if you’re in Bangkok and you’re serious about transforming your body and upgrading your lifestyle—I’m here for you. But if you’re looking to be coddled, comforted, or accepted without putting in the work... keep scrolling. This isn’t that kind of program.
