Chicago Personal Trainers Positions Available
Position: Personal Fitness Trainer
This personal trainer in downtown Chicago, Illinois position is open to male and female certified personal trainers.
The Personal Fitness Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of personal fitness training according to and congruent with exercise testing and prescription. This includes assisting new clients in the achievement of their fitness goals by performing thorough fitness assessments, functional movement screens and biomechanics testing as well as designing a goal appropriate workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Consult with client regarding their health & fitness goals

Perform fitness assessments

Conduct personal fitness training sessions with the highest quality standards

Create weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises and progressions relevant to their training progress and goals.

Respond to client questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Owner Dennis Romatz as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
-
Must speak English fluently
-
Must have at least one year of freelance, apartment gym and in-home personal training experience

A passion for fitness and health!

Upbeat and positive attitude.

Punctuality and reliability is a must.

Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

Current CPR Certification required.

Nationally Certified Personal Training Certificate required. NASM, ACE, ACSM recommended.

High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must have an operable motorbike
Physical Demands

Continual standing and walking during shift.

Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
