IS A PERSONAL TRAINER WORTH IT?
Here's an in depth look at the worth & value of personal trainer.
Is a personal trainer worth it? One of the most contemplated questions pondered by every person who is out of shape and/or overweight!
The simple answer is yes, a personal trainer brings a ton of value to anyone with a desire to improve their health and increase their fitness.
Is a computer technician worth it? Yes, when your laptop is broken and you have no knowledge of computers, then yes, there is a ton of value!
Being a professional personal trainer, I see things from a perspective of being able to easily increase anyone's fitness and improve anyone's health. I can transform bodies in beautiful works of art quite easily as I've been a personal trainer for more than 35 years.
Take for instance, the normal Joe or Josephine who is overweight, out of shape, has high blood pressure, heart disease and possibly Type 2 diabetes or similar. They have a deep desire to better their health and fitness, but there's a few things holding them back.
They don't have the courage to start
They don't know what to do
They don't know how to do the exercises
They need someone to kick their butt and make them exercise
A personal trainer can help you get started
As a veteran personal trainer, I can tell you that the biggest hurdle to exercising is getting started.
A qualified personal fitness trainer & fitness coach can help be the catalyst for people who are on the fence about starting their exercise program.
A personal trainer can clearly define the steps to take to start a new workout program and lessen the confusion and grey area surrounding getting started.
They can provide the confidence and encouragement that will help people take the ever important very first step.
This could very well be something certain people would never do on their own proving that yes, right from the get-go, a personal trainer is worth it.
A personal trainer will design a goal appropriate fitness training program
Most people who I fitness train have no idea what to do. They go to a gym, sit on a machine and hope something miraculous happens! This is usually the workout buzz kill and it happens quite quickly.....too quickly to change the minds of people. They don't know what to do. It's a waste of time in their minds.
Here is where a highly qualified personal trainer starts to demonstrate their worth and value.
Designing the perfect training program is the second hurdle that we as personal trainers help clients get over.
This is the part where training clients really start to buy into the program and realize that their fitness training is intelligently designed and the only way this will fail is if they stop following the program and stop exercising.
Mark another "yes" in the box next to "is a personal trainer worth it"!
A personal trainer will teach you how to exercises correctly
Myself and my staff of personal trainers all have kinesiology, biomechanics and human movement education and experience so we can easily break down each exercise in your fitness training program. We will demonstrate how to perform each movement correctly. We will verbally articulate why you are doing this exercise, what muscle it's working and how it will benefit you and help you achieve your goals.
Sounds to me like a personal trainer has a lot of value. I think you all agree at this point!
Let's keep going because this gets better!
A personal trainer will hold you accountable
As the old saying goes, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". Same is true with working out. I mean, just look at the prefix "working" out. Sounds like work and it is work!
As your personal trainer, I can encourage a person to start. I can design the perfect targeted fitness training program. I can teach a person how to perform every exercise correctly. Here is where the rubber meets the road and consistency starts to play the biggest part in anyone's workout routine.
A personal trainer with any backbone and passion for your goal achievement and success with hold you accountable to every workout training session, every set and every rep.
When you cannot, I will push you, drag you, pull you and even carry you if we have to! Here is where a personal trainer really brings value to the table.
My mantra as an experienced, educated, professional personal trainer, at certain times in my client's fitness journey is to make them do what they wouldn't or can't do on their own.
This is the kicker that always helps my personal training clients go above and beyond what they never imagined they could do and achieve success.
If you keep going, you'll succeed. You'll become fit, healthy and attain the dream body you've always wanted.
A personal trainer will be here for you every step of the way. Failure is not an option!
That, my friends is why a personal trainer is worth it!
