Here's a detailed look at personal trainer prices in Bangkok

Right around 2018 the fitness industry exploded in Thailand and it seemed like every Thai national was either choosing a career as a personal trainer or changing careers to become a personal trainer.  At the same time, foreign personal trainers were moving to Bangkok in droves further saturating and already flooded market making each personal trainer's slice of the pie smaller.

With the advent of a flooded personal trainer market, personal trainers who didn't have the strong personal fitness training resume and/or a significant amount of training experience and who lacked a formal University exercise science education quickly realized that they had to drop their personal training prices in order to get clients.  And even then, folks shopping for the cheapest personal trainer didn't seem to value an exercise science accredited personal trainer and chose the cheapest available further wreaking havoc on the personal trainer pricing structure as a whole.

Fast forward to 2022.  Bangkok now has a multitude of commercial gyms, boutique training studios and fitness training location options all fully stocked with both Thai and foreign personal trainers, all with varying levels of fitness education, certifications and years of experience, thus, a rather large variance in personal trainer prices.
